I’m Kyle Cunningham, a doctoral student in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at UNC Chapel Hill.

My interrogates how memes function rhetorically to construct collective belonging and identity within and between digitally mediated publics and also attends to the material infrastructures of platforms that condition participation and influence the circulation of networked discourse.

I am also the the Digital Humanities Manager at the ECL’s Digital Literacy and Communications Lab.
